Sushi 寿司

Of course when you heard the word sushi, automatically you think of Japan, the most popular food in Japan and in the world, The number of sushi restaurants in Japan is estimated at roughly 45,000 restaurants.

Ramen ラーメン

Many ramen restaurant in Japan also, it’s kind of noodle soup. The noodles are made of wheat. Ramen are typically Japanese, though they originally came from China. Ramen has become very popular in Japan and there are many shops that sell it. Japanese also make “instant ramen” to eat ramen quickly and easily at home. Outside Japan, people have also started to eat ramen.

Takoyaki たこ焼き

We can call them Octopus ball, is a ball-shaped Japanese snack made of a wheat flour-based batter and cooked in a special takoyaki pan. It is typically filled with minced or diced octopus (tako), tempura scraps (tenkasu), pickled ginger, and green onion.[1][2] Takoyaki are brushed with takoyaki sauce, similar to Worcestershire sauce and mayonnaise. The takoyaki is then sprinkled with green laver (aonori) and shavings of dried bonito (katsuobushi). There are many variations to the takoyaki recipe, for example, ponzu (soy sauce with dashi and citrus vinegar), goma-dare (sesame-and-vinegar sauce) or vinegared dashi.

Okonomiyaki and Monjayaki are two distinctive types of savory Japanese pancake. They are made of seasoned flour with various ingredients added, and cooked on a hot iron plate.Although both types are flour-based with ingredients such as cabbage or sprouts mixed into the batter, the main differences between them are the amount of seasoning used, and the way they are cooked.


Yaki-soba 焼きそば

Yakisoba is a popular traditional Japanese food in english Fried noodle, dish made of fried wheat flour noodles, meat, seafood, vegetables and a sweet sauce.


Sukiyaki すき焼き

Sukiyaki is one of the most popular hot pot dishes in Japan.  It has a sweet and salty flavor a little bit like teriyaki sauce, but with beef and vegetable in the mix, it has its own Sukiyaki taste people love so much.


Tempura 天ぷら

Tempura is a popular element of Japanese cuisine, and consists of battering fish and/or vegetables and deep frying them. It is distinguished from many other battered and deep fried foods by being much lighter and tending to carry less grease.
